Traveling Checklist for Quilters

You could be about to embark on a two-week road trip to the Grand Canyon. Or jumping on a plane for a month working remote in London. Or you could be headed to the cabin for the summer. If you're going to be away from your fabric stash and sewing space for more than a few days, packing to travel will include packing at least one quilt project. And if you, like thousands of other quilters, find yourself with a second home in warmer or cooler weather, setting up a second sewing space will be essential. You can use this handy checklist for either long-term traveling or prioritizing which tools should be duplicated to stay in a second home and which you will bring with you.
